A Game of Biblical Proportions

Christian families strive to model themselves after the Bible’s inspirational teachings. Every chapter and verse is packed with parables and morality lessons that can be applied just as readily to modern life as to that of the ancients. Unfortunately, the density of archaic biblical language sometimes stands in the way of a child’s ability to learn these heroic tales.

Christian card games simplify and distill the bible’s positive messages into a fun, addictive family pastime. They act as a great bonding tool for parents and children, and they add an element of competition that ramps up the fun even further. Perhaps most importantly, Christian card games are as educational as they are entertaining.

What is Your Baby Grasping?

40503-fish-rattleFrom the developmental viewpoint a baby’s first experiences are sensory and largely come through feeding. It makes sense that once a baby can reach out and grasp things he wants to find out what they are really like by putting them in his mouth.

It is at this point that earrings, necklaces and eye glasses are discovered and pulled at, and we can no longer hold the baby and have a cup of coffee at the same time. Parents will want to think about what will satisfy their baby’s curiosity as their child begins to give them clear indications that he wants to handle and put various objects into his mouth. You will notice this at ages four to six months.

A seated, immobile baby is entirely at our mercy as to the kind of playthings or environment we offer him. In spite of its different colors or design, a plastic rattle feels, smells and tastes much like any other plastic rattle from a baby’s point of view. Yet all around him is house full of objects just waiting to be discovered.

ImagiBABY are wooden baby rattles made out of managed forest Beechwood and is a material that is a good alternative to plastic.   These wooden baby toys are sanded baby smooth and finished with beeswax, a natural antiseptic.  Easy to grasp the rattles are geared for ages 5 months and up.

So Slowly

flower-and-sunLord,

I seem to grow so slowly

So very slowly.

So thank You for reminding me

That never has a Master Musician

Composed a lasting symphony

In an hour.

Romans 8:29 NLT

For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn, with many brothers and sisters.
