You will love exploring several new giant stuffed animals on our website, All I Can Imagine. Our collection of plush stuffed animals now includes several new teddy bears and jungle animal toys.
You may have been pondering a purchase of some unique stuffed toys but are concerned about the quality you may find on the Internet. Often, stuffed toy animals found in your local toy stores and super markets do not have the quality you feel safe giving your children.
When you want to make a larger sized investment in giant stuffed toys shopping online might be a better idea because you can find quality, hand sewn toys without driving all over the city to find a store which sells high-end stuffed teddy bears and other unique animals.
Purr-Fection is a company located in Oregon and has as their number one objection to satisfy, their customers by providing superb quality products at an excellent value. All of their toy animals are hand sewn and they use only the highest quality materials in production. Their unique designs have been delighting children for many years.
Each of their toy animals have an individual character which is reflected in their expressions, softness and posability. One especially unique product line is their Bouncy Buddies.
These six inch stuffed animals have a hard rubber ball sewn into their tummies and both children and dogs love to play with such characters as a penguin, panda bear and a cute dog. (Toby is my favorite and I had to throw in another picture!)
I regressed for a moment because the focus of this blog post is our new giant stuffed animals that include a ninety inch jumbo brown bear (pictured above). I also love the 42 inch bright green frog and the light grey elephant. All these new stuffed animal toys are on sale.
Visit our stuffed jungle animals page to see the frog and elephant – you will love what you see!
Shop early and avoid the Christmas rush and I hope you have a large closet to hide your new toys in!
Giraffes are fascinating animals. Owning plush stuffed animals such as our hand-sewn giraffe may be the only way your child can have a giraffe.
Our stuffed toy animals, jungle collection includes a pretty 18” safari toy and it has just arrived back I stock after a long absence.
Did you know the Giraffe is the tallest among all land living animals? The giraffe can be 16 to 18 feet tall and weigh up to 3,000 pounds. Females are generally slightly shorter and weigh less than the males do.
Both sexes have horns, although the horns of a female are smaller. Giraffes have spots covering their entire bodies, except their underbellies, with each giraffe having a unique pattern of spots. They have long, prehensile tongues that are impervious to the thorns of the acacia trees that they feed from and are distinctly blue-black to protect from sunburn. They have long necks, which they use to browse the leaves of trees.
Giraffe perform a behavior called necking. Necking duels occur when males fight. Giraffe use their heads to strike a blow and they also use their necks to show affection toward another giraffe. Giraffes are normally quiet animals. They do not have only one distinct sound that they make. They will, however, cough, whistle, bellow, moo, grunt, snort and hiss. The Teddy Bear is the most popular plush toy, and it may even be the most popular of all toys. Other toys have been popular in their day — the hula hoop, the yo-yo, Mr. Potato Head – but none have stood the test of time.
Teddy Bears are especially popular during holidays throughout the year. From New Year’s Day in January to Christmas Day in December, teddy bears fill up grocery store check-out counters with their Stars and Stripes for the 4th of July and Jack-o-lantern costumes for Halloween. Some teddy bears have a simple Pilgrim’s hat or Easter bonnet. While others sing festive songs or shout “Ho, Ho, Ho!” Whether they are red for Valentine’s Day or green for St. Patrick’s Day, these plush stuffed animals bring us joy any time of the year!
Are you looking for a safe stuffed bear? Our toys collection of plush stuffed animals includes teddy bear toys that are manufactured to surpass all safety regulations. “Hunter” is the name of our soft, cuddly bear that is pictured here and is available at All I Can Imagine.
Getting stuffed animals is a great gift idea as a childs toy or for a teenager or even an adult! Our teddy bear toys come in sizes ranging from 6 inches all the way to our jumbo 90 inch plush animal toys.

Do you have some favorite stuffed toys? Think back, what is the name of the stuffed bears you played with as a child? Where are your Teddy Bears today?
Classic brown plush stuffed animals have American origins, which have been traced to a cartoon, published in the Washington Star in 1902. Clifford Berryman’s cartoon depicted Theodore Roosevelt (president from 1901 to 1909) sparing the life of a trapped bear cub while on a hunting expedition.
Teddy bears—now a staple of American childhood—can be useful in teaching twentieth-century gender history and material culture studies.

If you remembered the name of your stuffed teddy bear from your childhood you did better than I did. I remember he looked something like Papa Minky but was only about ten or twelve inches high. I think he was lost in a flood.
Papa Minky is one of our giant, 54 inch stuffed toys available on our website, All I Can Imagine. He just arrived back in stock and is ready to put under your Christmas Tree (if you have a large tree that is).
Growing up I looked forward to Easter and coloring Easter Eggs. I also loved the Easter egg hunt my parents always arranged throughout the house and yard.
The same coloring kits I used back in the 1950’s are still available in the stores today but I thought I’d search the Internet for a couple of new ideas (they were new for me anyway). Here are a couple I liked:
Sponge Painted Eggs
Cut a sponge into small pieces.
Pour some acrylic paint into a shallow dish or onto wax paper.
Clip the sponge pieces onto clothes pins, one for each color of paint. Dip the sponge into the paint and dab the egg with it. Start with your darker colors first for the best effect. Put the egg in an egg cup to dry.
Tips: I prefer to sponge paint with natural sponge.
You can find them at craft stores or a paint supply.
Do NOT eat eggs that have been painted!
Crayon Resist Easter Eggs
Color on the Easter eggs before placing in the dye.
Simple Dots, lines shapes swirls…The wax will resist the dye and your picture will show through. If you are dying Easter eggs with little ones
and do not want to use dye…The children can simply color the eggs with crayons and leave it at that.
Need a gift idea for your child (of any age)? See one of our stuffed animal collections pictured above. I especially like Nibbles, the 20” floppy eared bunny rabbit. This stuffed animal is posable as are many of our toy animals.
Nope, only in the Alsace region, which borders Germany, does the bunny venture into the garden. In the rest of the France it is a winged bell that does the delivery.
Many centuries ago the Catholic authorities ordered that church bells fall silent between the Thursday before Easter and Easter itself. Children are told that that the bells have flown to Rome to see the Pope and gather candy, returning on Sunday morning to drop chocolate chickens, bunnies, and eggs from the sky.
Like many places in the world, eggs are an important part of Easter in France. It is said that eggs are symbolic of the return to plenty after the hardship of Lent. Many families organize an Easter egg hunt in the garden and afterwards the children will roll their eggs down a slope to see whose is the fastest.
Adding an Easter bunny to your child’s Easter basket is a great idea! See all our plush stuffed animals on our website and order early!
We have added a group of three Gibbon’s to our collection of plush stuffed animals. These Gibbon’s are posable plush toys for kids of all ages.
You will love the large 42” Papa Mango as well as the 18 “and 12.5” Baby Mango. As with all our stuffed toys the Gibbon’s are quality, safe hand-sewn plush toys for your young children.
Gibbons are rare, small, slender, long-armed, tree-dwelling apes. These very acrobatic primates live in Southeast Asia. Gibbons are arboreal; they spend most of their lives in trees.
Gibbons have senses very similar to ours, including hearing, sight (including color vision), smell, taste, and touch.
Gibbons are omnivores (eating plants and meat). They forage for food in the forests during the day, eating fruit (which constitutes about 75% of their diet), leaves, flowers, seeds, tree bark, and tender plant shoots. They also eat insects, spiders, bird eggs, and small birds.
Gibbons drink water, often by dipping a furry hand into the water or rubbing a hand on wet leaves, and then slurping up the water from their fur. Gibbons sometimes do this while dangling above the water from a thin tree branch.
More information about this fascinating rainforest animal is available at: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/apes/gibbon/.

Pre-Christian fertility lore is the origin of the Easter Bunny. During the spring season, the Hare and the Rabbit were the most fertile animals known.
According to what I read at http://www.easterbunnys.net/easterbunnyhistory.htm, the bunny as an Easter symbol had it’s origin in Germany. It was first mentioned in German writings in the 1500s. The first edible Easter bunnies were made in Germany during the early 1800s. These were made of pastry and sugar.
The Easter bunny was introduced to American folklore by the German settlers who arrived in the Pennsylvania Dutch country during the 1700s. The arrival of the “Oschter Haws” was considered “childhood’s greatest pleasure” next to a visit from Christ-Kindel on Christmas Eve. The children believed that if they were good the “Oschter Haws” would lay a nest of colored eggs.
Easter is early this year and you will want to see our line of plush stuffed animals on our website. Our stuffed animals include a line of plush rabbits perfect for gift giving and including in your Easter baskets.
