The Most Versatile Play Set on the Market

As a child I was not fortunate to own a beautiful construction kit to play with.  But nowadays many children are being introduced to the exciting world of Quadro™ playsets.

Quadro™ is the most unique and versatile large scale play construction system you will own. You will find the modular tubes, connectors and panels are lightweight yet strong and long-lasting. As your kids grow these adventure playsets can grow with them.

As a child his first structure might be a simple climbing gym.  As he grows more pieces can be added onto the structures to make bigger structures such as space ships, sleds, and even a theatre.  Quadro grows with children and even goes to college with them as desks, beds, and even bookcases are set up in their rooms.

Safe Climbing Adventure Playsets for Kids

posted by Eva
November 13, 2009

juniorparallelBecause all kids love to climb, supervised climbing activities are your best course of action.  Whether you take your kids to a park or just to your back yard make sure there are enough safety observers to go around.

When you are alert to the possibility of a falling child it is not difficult to catch them.  Taking a group of children to a playground and they will begin climbing steps, up poles and around climbing frames.  Take kids to a picnic and they will climb trees, leave them in the back yard and in no time you may find them on the garage roof or jumping from piles of stacked items nearby.

Given the fact that you are not going to be able to stop kids from climbing it is a good idea to provide them safe structures to climb on.  One such toy is modular tubes put together in various configurations depending on the age and amount of children.  Check out a Quadro Playset;  a basic design is pictured with this article.

Do You Remember the First Tree You Climbed?

100509_dart_1_hr_t320What kid does not love to climb?   I had a great tree in my front yard that my brother and I used to climb.  But my favorite was a very big tree I can still remember that was along the shore of a river not far from my house.

When we grow up and become older we are still seeking the thrill of climbing and taking up the sport by climbing rocks, deep water soloing, ice climbing and indoor rock climbing. Climbing gives us a different sense of adventure and freedom and is something we do not out grow.

But not all kids have trees to climb.  What to do is as easy as getting your kid a Quadro playset and setting it up in your back yard.  Or you could even begin with something smaller such as a set of parallel bars and set it up in your basement or play room.

Safe modular tubing pieces are in bright colors that kids love and they will gravitate to any of the adventure playsets you provide them.  Add to it as your children grow and you will have a play set that will give you more than your money’s worth and years of adventurous climbing fun for kids of many age groups.

Ride the Rails – Build Your Own Locomotive

posted by gbowen
August 8, 2009

29-013120-10-locomotiveAs a child I was limited to the forts my brother built (see “It was Built and they Came”), but children nowadays can make an airplane and take a ride over the Atlantic Ocean, construct their own rocket ship and fly to the moon, design a car and race in the Indianapolis 500, build a locomotive and ride the rails, all from one Quadro playset.

With money being tight these days you want to get all you can when you select a new playset for your children.  Everyone from churches, day care centers, play zone facilities and homes will benefit by owning modular construction sets.

With the Quadro vehicle kit, for example, your child can build and tear down structures as often as he wants.  With this one play set he could build an airplane, locomotive, car, rocket ship, truck, buggy and much more.

These kits can be used outside or inside and are in bright colors such as green, yellow, red and blue – all the colors kids love.

It Was Built and They Came

29-012840-quadro-starter-house-playset-small1The firemen had come and gone by the time my brother and I arrived home from school.  At the family pow wow that happened shortly thereafter my brother was informed that he had built his last tree house.

My brother loved building playhouses in our back yard tree.  He and I spent many summer hours up in his newly created play structures as he built, tore down and redesigned all summer long  – until that summer day when his last tree house caught on fire.

Kids nowadays may not have tree houses to climb up into but they do have Quadro construction play sets.  These sets, made from modular tubes and connectors, will not catch on fire and can be broken down and re-designed over and over again.

Over the years many children have received their first Quadro playset when they were young and their parents have added on to their first set enabling them to build bigger and greater structures such as mazes, forts and even a desk.

The above image is from the Starter II Kit and is one of the structures that your child may build besides a theatre, a store, a ramp, goals and many others.

My brother, by the way, still saws wood.  Living in Washington State, he saws trees and lumber for a living and I have not heard that he has had to call the fire department for many years.
